ARC Therapy is targeted, programmed stimulation of the spinal cord designed to restore movement, function, and independence after spinal cord injury (SCI).

In addition to restoring movement after SCI, ARC Therapy has the potential to regulate blood pressure and help with symptoms of hemodynamic instability, such as fatigue or lightheadedness.

Implantable Platform

  • Investigational, implantable neurostimulation platform to minimally invasively deliver targeted ARCIM Therapy to the spinal cord.

    The US FDA awarded the ARCIM platform Breakthrough Device Designations for restoration of leg motor function, blood pressure regulation, trunk stabilization, bladder control, and alleviation of spasticity in people with spinal cord injury.

    We are also advancing brain-computer interface (BCI) technology to restore thought-driven movement after SCI when used with our ARCIM platform.

Improved Blood Pressure Regulation

ARCIM is the first neuroprosthetic system designed to reduce the symptoms related to Orthostatic and Postprandial Hypotension and Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD) in people living with chronic spinal cord injury (SCI) at lesion level C3-T6 AIS A-D.

We received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for ARCIM in 2020 to normalize blood pressure.
