External Platform

  • Investigational, external spinal cord stimulation platform to non-invasively deliver ARCEX® Therapy to the spinal cord.

    The US FDA granted the ARCEX platform Breakthrough Device Designations for upper and lower limb function, bladder control, regulation of blood pressure, and alleviation of spasticity in people with spinal cord injury.

    In 2024, we submitted an application to the FDA for clearance to market the ARCEX® System in the US for improvement in upper limb function. We plan to submit an application in Europe in 2025.

Read The Evidence

The Up-LIFT pivotal study evaluated the safety and effectiveness of non-invasive electrical spinal cord stimulation (ARCEX Therapy) to improve upper extremity strength and function in people with spinal cord injury. The clinical study enrolled 65 people at 14 leading SCI centers in the US, Europe, and Canada, reporting positive topline results.
